Conference Submission Information

Conference Submissions

This year's conference welcomes you to contribute to our 2024 program by providing a Podium Presentation, Poster Presentation, Targeted Training, Special Session or Tour. General submissions will be open from August 29th - October 23rd, November 10th, November 30th, 2023.

Submissions provided by November 10th will be reviewed by experts on the Conference Planning Committees immediately. Acceptance notifications will go out December 1st - 30th.

All participants will need to reserve the full conference days initially. The conference schedule will be determined and announced to presenters February 1st. 

Below is an outline of information required for each submission type. Please read carefully and be prepared to provide all information. 


Oral Podium or Poster Presentation

For a general presentation submission, you will be requested to submit a title, abstract and biography for your presentation. Presentations will be 15 minutes long with additional time for Q&A. When you submit your abstract, please be ready to share which session you would like it to be included in from this list


Training or Workshop

All trainings and workshops will be held on Tuesday, April 30th before the general sessions of the conference. Please be prepared to share a title, description and goals, training length, supplies required and target audience. We are aiming to ensure there are no overlapping submissions and that we will have enough time for the trainings. 


New Session Topic

All general sessions will be hosted Wednesday - Friday during the conference and will be held concurrently with other general sessions. Each session will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. As a session proposer, you may select the various lengths for your session including (a) Half Session (40 minutes), (b) One Full Session (1 hour 15 minutes), (c) Two Full Sessions (2 hours 30 minutes). Please be prepared to share the session organizer information, a session title and description, the format of the session and who your proposed presenters are. We are aiming to ensure there are no overlapping submissions and we will have enough time for the sessions. 


Conference Tour

The conference will be held in Riverside, California. Therefore all tours should occur in the local area. Please be prepared to share the tour location and purpose, along with timing, target audience, transportation and associated costs.
