The Air Quality Program (AQP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Quality Assurance Coordinator (Natural Resource Scientist 3) position. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA.

In this scientist position, you will serve as the Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) for the air quality program and conduct research and develop tools to analyze and ensure the quality of air monitoring data and information that is used by the Program to accomplish its mission and strategic goals.  As such, you will research, plan, develop, direct and implement the Air Quality Program’s quality system to ensure accurate and reliable air quality information that will stand up to scrutiny, meet EPA and Ecology requirements, and provide a foundation for Air Quality Program and agency credibility.
