Bio

Dr. Rachelle Duvall is an Environmental Engineer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Research and Development, located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Her research focuses on evaluating innovative technologies including air sensors to better understand air quality and source emissions. She combines these innovative approaches with citizen science/crowdsourcing to empower and engage the public while also informing her research. She is also very passionate about sharing science through educational outreach for students of all ages. Dr. Duvall has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester (NY).
