Description: Sonoma Technology is seeking a senior scientist to join our growing practice in litigation support. Our legal and litigation support team is currently working on an array of projects involving cutting-edge topics and high-profile issues. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected firm, work with federal prosecutors and leading law firms, and help industry clients develop innovative environmental solutions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing environmental data analysis projects and major emissions and air quality modeling assessments. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, particularly the ability to explain complex scientific issues to a lay audience. Ideal candidates will be recognized leaders in the air quality field who have contributed to the literature, chaired national committees and workshops, and established a reputation for unbiased, science-based analysis work to support a broad range of public sector, private sector, and non-governmental organization clients. This individual will have an opportunity to participate in ongoing work and help STI continue to grow our modeling, emissions, and other air quality-related business areas. The position reports to STI’s CEO at STI’s office in Petaluma, California, although there is flexibility in where the candidate will work on a day-to-day basis.
